Signing up for health insurance can be a difficult task. That is why Prism Health North Texas has certified enrollment navigators to help you apply for health insurance through the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Enrollment Navigators will assess your eligibility for financial aid to help lower your monthly insurance payments. They will answer all your questions and provide you with the information needed to make a decision that works best for you. Enrollment support is FREE, and appointments are in-person, by phone, or virtual.

Why would you consider enrolling in an ACA Health Plan if you already receive full coverage for your HIV/AIDS through PHNTX?

You may have a $0 premium cost.

• New law – Thanks to the American Rescue Plan, quality health coverage is more affordable and accessible than ever.
• Lower prices – Four in five customers are able to find health coverage for $10 or less per month.
• More people qualify – Whether you are uninsured, don’t get insurance through your job, or if you are looking to find health coverage at a lower cost – this Open Enrollment period is for you!

You will have health insurance benefits for all your medical conditions.

• ACA health plans allow you to obtain medical care for conditions other than HIV/AIDS at any provider that accepts the health plan you select. This may be important to you if you find navigating the Parkland system difficult and time-consuming.

You will not be disqualified from receiving your medical care at PHNTX.

• Enrolling in an ACA health plan will not make you ineligible or disqualify you from continuing your medical care at PHNTX.
