Miss LifeWalk brings Dallas drag artistry, fierce competition and community impact together on one stage—all to raise funds for accessible healthcare across North Texas.
Miss LifeWalk grew out of LifeWalk, one of the largest and longest-running HIV awareness events in North Texas. From 1991 to 2019, LifeWalk brought thousands of advocates together for a 5K walk, community festival and free HIV testing.
Miss LifeWalk debuted in 2004 as a spirited fundraiser connected to the annual event. Contestants often represented LifeWalk fundraising teams and collected donations before and during the competition. What began as an addition to the larger walk soon became a beloved tradition of its own.
By 2016, Miss LifeWalk had raised more than $189,000 in support of LifeWalk and local HIV services.
Today, Miss LifeWalk carries that legacy forward while directing more resources toward patient care and preserving the community spirit that began with LifeWalk more than three decades ago.

Funds raised through Miss LifeWalk support the healthcare programs and services provided by Prism Health North Texas. These include primary care, HIV and STI testing and treatment, HIV prevention, behavioral health, dental care, women’s health, pediatrics, case management and other services that help North Texans live healthier lives.
Every ticket purchased, sponsorship secured and donation made helps PHNTX provide compassionate and affordable care to the community.
Miss LifeWalk is more than a pageant. It is a celebration of drag artistry, community service and the long history of drag performers using their platforms to support important causes.
Guests can expect an energetic show featuring contestant introductions, creative talent performances, interviews and appearances by local entertainers and former Miss LifeWalk titleholders. Contestants bring their confidence, originality, creativity and stage presence to the competition while demonstrating their ability to represent PHNTX and its mission.
The winner receives the crown and serves as an ambassador for Prism Health North Texas during her year-long reign. She uses her platform to promote community healthcare, sexual health, HIV and STI testing, HIV prevention and access to care.
Each new Miss LifeWalk joins a legacy of performers who have used drag to entertain, educate and advocate for their communities. She brings her own voice, talents and passions to the role while carrying that legacy into the future.
