Prism Health North Texas to Host Second Annual ‘Care on the Rocks’ Fundraiser

Prism Health North Texas (PHNTX) invites the community to Care on the Rocks, its second annual fundraising event taking place Wednesday, November 11, at 6 p.m. at Encina, located at 614 W. Davis Street in Dallas’ Oak Cliff neighborhood. Guests will enjoy food and drinks from the popular neighborhood restaurant while raising funds to support accessible, high-quality healthcare across North Texas, with a special focus on PHNTX’s expanding services in Oak Cliff.

Encina has created a custom menu for the evening featuring familiar favorites, including its signature blue corn butterscotch pancakes for dessert, alongside wine and cocktails. Guests can also participate in a silent auction featuring a curated selection of products and experiences from Oak Cliff businesses, a wine pull, and other fundraising activities.

This year’s event comes as PHNTX continues to expand its presence in Oak Cliff, where it has added pediatric primary care and women’s health services at its Oak Cliff Health Center over the past year. As some local healthcare providers have closed and families face increasing challenges finding affordable care, PHNTX is working to meet growing demand and provide more options for patients seeking care in their own neighborhood. The organization is also continuing to build relationships throughout Oak Cliff to connect more residents with its services, particularly families who may face barriers related to cost, insurance coverage, or transportation.

PHNTX’s continued investment in Oak Cliff also reflects the neighborhood’s ongoing HIV prevention and treatment needs. Alongside its expanded primary care services, PHNTX continues to provide HIV prevention, testing, and treatment services to help address these needs.

We’re excited to host Care on the Rocks at Encina, a restaurant that Oak Cliff knows and loves, and bring people together to support the future of healthcare in this community.”

Tickets and sponsorship opportunities for Care on the Rocks are available at CareontheRocks.org. General admission tickets are $150 and include champagne, cocktails, and hors d’oeuvres from Encina’s custom event menu. Sponsorships range from $1,000, including tickets for four guests, to $10,000, including tickets for six guests, with complimentary recognition and branding opportunities. Proceeds will support PHNTX’s mission to provide accessible, high-quality healthcare to North Texans, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.
