General Services
Prism Health North Texas (PHNTX) is a full-service community health center dedicated to providing high-quality primary care for all North Texans. We foster a culturally sensitive, judgment-free, and confidential environment to ensure everyone feels welcome.
Thanks to the generous support of individuals, businesses, foundations, and government agencies, PHNTX offers personalized, comprehensive care at little or no cost to over 15,000 people each year—including men, women, and children.
We provide comprehensive care for adults and children, including primary care, behavioral health, dental care, HIV and STI prevention and treatment, family planning, pediatric, pharmaceutical, education and outreach, and social services.
Our services are open to everyone. We provide personalized care for all patients, regardless of age, sex, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, or ability to pay.

Locations
Prism Health North Texas (PHNTX) has four medical clinic locations, three dental locations and three pharmacies. In each of these locations, you will find high-quality, affordable health care for the entire family in a confidential, judgment-free environment.

- Monday – Friday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Special Late Hours – Every 3rd Monday of the Month: 10:00 am – 7:00 pm
- Closed Daily: 12:00 – 1:00 pm
DENTAL
- Monday – Friday: 8:30 am* – 5:00 pm
- Closed Daily: 12:00 – 1:00 pm
NOTE: Our East Dallas location opens at 8:00AM.
PHARMACY
- Monday: 8:30 am – 7:00 pm (3rd Monday of each month open at 10am)
- Tuesday-Friday: 8:30 am – 6 pm
- Saturday – Sunday: CLOSED

Yes, we have free parking available onsite at all our locations.
Appointments
Yes, please schedule your appointment in advance. We will do our best to accommodate you as soon as possible.
To request an appointment by phone, call 214-521-5191, or complete the Request an Appointment form online. Returning patients can log in to the Patient Portal to request appointments.
Yes, we offer same-day and walk-in appointments for urgent issues, depending on availability. Call us to check for openings.
Yes, we offer telehealth services for many types of visits, including primary care, behavioral health, and follow-up care. Call to schedule your virtual appointment.
Cost and Insurance
Prism Health North Texas believes every individual has the right to accessible health care and the opportunity to attain their highest level of health. Whether a patient has a low income, is uninsured, or is underinsured, there are programs available to make health care more affordable. You may be eligible for one of our Assistance Programs:
- Grant and/or government-funded assistance programs: You may be eligible for these programs to help lower the cost of your health care. For patients living with HIV, you may also be eligible for the Ryan White Program.
- Sliding fee rates: Based on your household income and size, you may qualify for lower-cost care.
- Flexible payment plans: Ask about our flexible payment options designed to fit your budget.
At every health center, Financial Navigators are available to assist you in navigating the best option(s) for you. Make an appointment today with one of our Financial Navigators by:

To qualify, you’ll need to provide proof of income, such as pay stubs, a letter from your employer, or other documentation. Our team can guide you through the application process.
We accept a wide range of health insurance plans for medical and dental services, including Medicaid, Medicare, CHIP, and most major private insurance plans.

You can get health insurance through the Affordable Care Act. We have certified marketplace navigators to help you find the best plan for your care.
Prism Health North Texas does not deny access to care based on a patient’s ability to pay. If you would like more details, please ask anyone on our health center or case management staff.

Specialized Services
Yes, we offer comprehensive HIV services, including PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis, a daily pill or long-acting injectable) prevention medication), PEP (emergency prevention medication), HIV testing, and treatment.
We provide cleanings, exams, fillings, crowns, dentures, root canals, extractions, and pediatric dental services. Referrals are available for orthodontic or advanced care.
Our behavioral health services include counseling, psychiatric care, substance use support, and crisis management. Services are tailored to your unique needs.
Yes, we provide hormone therapy as part of our holistic care for transgender and non-binary individuals.
Inclusivity and Accessibility
In addition to primary medical care, we offer specialized services such as hormone therapy, PrEP/PEP, and affirming behavioral health care. Our providers are trained to create a safe, inclusive environment where all patients feel welcome.
