Prism Health North Texas (PHNTX) is proud to announce the addition of three new primary care providers to its team: Dr. Nathan Luke, MD, Ejeanee Queen, APRN, FNP-BC, and Kentoria Roberson-White, FNP. All three providers are accepting new patients at Prism Health North Texas’ five area health centers in Dallas.
Dr. Nathan Luke is a family medicine physician who provides comprehensive primary care to his patients. Dr. Luke will serve PHNTX patients at the Uptown Physicians Group (UPG) office at 2801 Lemmon Avenue, Suite 400 in Dallas and enjoys seeing patients for both acute and chronic conditions. Born and raised in Maryland, Dr. Luke completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland, College Park and was awarded his medical degree from Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. He completed his Family Medicine Residency at LewisGale Medical Center in Roanoke, VA. Dr. Luke is passionate about connecting with patients and providing patient-centered care.
“The most rewarding and important part of my job as a physician is being an advocate for those I care for,” said Dr. Luke. “It allows me to help uplift marginalized communities by providing a compassionate and accepting environment for my patients, particularly those who have been neglected and treated negatively when they have sought help in the past. I am thrilled to work at Prism because it specializes in doing just that.”
Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Ejeanee Queen is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than seven years of experience in HIV primary care. She will serve PHNTX patients at the Oak Cliff Health Center located at 219 Sunset Ave, Suite 116-A. Ejeanee earned her master’s degree in nursing from Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing. Ejeanee is returning to PHNTX after previously providing primary care at the organization (then Aids Arms Inc.) from 2006 to 2013. Ejeanee is passionate about working with underserved populations and has spent her entire career serving this community.
“HIV care is my ‘first love’ in medicine,” said Queen. “Since moving to other practice areas, I always felt that I would eventually return to doing this work and what better way to get back to doing what I love than to rejoin the premiere organization providing care to the community in the Dallas area. Since my return, I’ve seen the amazing growth the organization has had over the last several years and I’m excited to again be part of providing quality care to the HIV community.”
Family Nurse Practitioner Kentoria Roberson-White will serve PHNTX patients at the South Dallas Health Center located at 4922 Spring Ave. Kentoria graduated with a BSN from Texas Tech University and received a master’s degree in nursing from University of Texas at Houston and has been practicing since 2020. She holds nursing licenses in California, New York, Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, Virginia and Texas. She is also the founder of Phoenix Health Alliance, a nonprofit organization whose mission is “to empower adolescents with comprehensive reproductive health education and resources”.
“As a provider, I take immense pride in working for an organization like Prism, which is genuinely committed to serving the community,” said Roberson-White. “In my role as a reproductive health provider, I often meet people during their most vulnerable moments, and many of them express feelings of isolation. My hope is that after their time with me, they not only leave feeling more informed but also empowered. This is what I find most fulfilling about my job and what I aim for every patient to experience during our visit.”
“As our organization grows, we are thrilled with the addition of these three practitioners to Prism Health North Texas,” said Dr. John Carlo, CEO of PHNTX. “Their joining our staff expands our service capabilities, allowing us to provide quality, accessible and equitable healthcare for more North Texans.”
