Prism Health North Texas’ (PHNTX) Department of Policy, Advocacy, and Community Engagement announces an upcoming Legislative Breakfast to be held at their new administrative offices at 3900 Junius Street in the Baylor University Medical Center campus. The informative and collaborative event will host local, state and federal legislators as well as community leaders and constituents. PHNTX has established their own policy and advocacy department to collaborate with advocates and elected officials to address the needs of the communities they serve.
Advancing the health of North Texas through education, research, prevention, and personalized integrated HIV care for 35 years, Prism Health North Texas has seen profound growth over its past three years. Dedicated to their vision of building equitable healthcare access for all Texans, the organization provides affordable, quality, culturally competent care to more North Texans than ever before.
“PHNTX’s ability to provide equitable healthcare access to underserved communities is due to the support of local, state and federal policies and programs that empower us to reach populations who are often overlooked,” said Januari Fox, PHNTX Director of Policy, Advocacy, and Community Engagement. “We are currently focused on policies affecting our LGBTQ+, Black and Latino communities including voting access, telehealth and broadband availability.”
