A person living with HIV will share their story with participants to help with outreach and managing shame and stigma related to ideas about people living with the HIV virus.
Meet Tomasa Vasquez. She walked the path of drugs for 38 consecutive years, but thanks to programs like Empowerment Connection and Project STEP, she is free from that life today. She currently serves prisons and the unhoused and delivers for food pantries in the community.
