Prism Health North Texas (PHNTX) is proud to announce Matt Judd, CPA, as its new Chief Financial Officer. Judd brings more than 25 years of finance leadership experience, including more than a decade in healthcare, with extensive experience supporting community health centers and organizations caring for underserved populations.
As Chief Financial Officer, Judd oversees PHNTX’s financial strategy, budgeting reporting, revenue cycle, and long-term financial planning. He will work closely with the executive leadership team to strengthen the organization’s financial foundation while supporting continued growth in patient services, operational excellence, and access to care.
Prior to joining PHNTX, Judd served as Chief Financial Officer for Sacred Circle Healthcare in Salt Lake City, where he helped guide a period of significant organizational growth. Sacred Circle Healthcare serves Native American communities as well as other historically underserved populations across Utah, giving Judd firsthand experience supporting an organization focused on reducing barriers to care. During his tenure, the organization expanded clinical operations, increased its workforce, and experienced substantial revenue growth while maintaining strong financial controls, regulatory compliance, and consistently clean annual audits. Throughout his career, Judd has focused on building sustainable financial systems that enable healthcare organizations to expand services and better meet the needs of their communities.
Judd earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Brigham Young University and a Master of Professional Accountancy from the University of Utah’s David Eccles School of Business. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
“Prism Health North Texas has an incredible opportunity to continue expanding access to care across North Texas,” said Judd. “My experience supporting healthcare organizations serving Native American communities and other underserved populations reinforced how important it is to build strong financial systems that allow providers to focus on patients. I am excited to help develop the financial strategies, partnerships, and sustainable revenue streams that support new services, strengthen our role as a Federally Qualified Health Center Look-Alike, and ensure that uninsured and underinsured patients can continue receiving the care they need.”
“As Prism Health North Texas continues to grow, strong financial leadership is essential to achieving our mission,” said Dr. John Carlo, CEO of Prism Health North Texas. “Matt’s expertise will help us build a resilient financial future, identify opportunities for sustainable growth, and ensure we can continue investing in the services our patients need today and for years to come.”
