As we close out another year at Prism Health North Texas, we have a lot to be thankful for. Our staff, medical personnel, and volunteers help us remain one of North Texas’ leading organizations providing comprehensive health care services to marginalized communities. We believe that everyone, regardless of their background or circumstances, deserves access to quality, affordable health care.
Prism Health North Texas offers a wide range of services that have a profound impact on the lives of the communities we serve. We provide specialized care for those living with HIV, ensuring they receive the support and treatment necessary to lead fulfilling lives. We also focus on educating the public through extensive community outreach programs to promote healthy lifestyles. PHNTX is committed to breaking down barriers and providing inclusive and compassionate care to individuals in need.
This year, we made exciting changes to our HIV/STI prevention program by revamping the look of our signature free online condom ordering program, Nice Package. Featuring a new, North Texas-themed design, participants across Texas can order from an array of sexual wellness items to meet their needs. In our pursuit to raise awareness of one’s HIV status, we have also added free, easy-to-use at-home test kits for Dallas County residents. This potentially reduces stigma by allowing people to test on their own time, in the space where they are most comfortable. Nice Packages are shipped discreetly and include a fun treat. Since its launch in October, we have already distributed over 70 test kits and almost 18,000 condoms!
By supporting Prism Health North Texas, you are helping us to empower those who too often face discrimination and unequal access to health care.
