Your First Visit

Welcomed. Valued. Respected.

That’s how you can expect to feel the moment you visit a Prism Health North Texas clinic.

Your first appointment is an important step in building a lasting relationship with your care team. Whether you’re here for pediatric care, women’s health, routine checkups, or specialized treatment, we’ll partner with you every step of the way.

What You Can Expect

  • Appointment Length: Your first visit typically takes about 60 minutes; follow-ups are usually 30 minutes or less.

  • Exams and Tests: Depending on your needs, you may have lab work or preventive screenings. These help us build a full picture of your health.

  • Vaccines: Our team may recommend vaccines to keep you and your family healthy, such as flu, pneumonia, or childhood immunizations.

  • What to Ask: Anything! The more you share, the better we can tailor your care plan. You’re welcome to bring a friend or family member for support.

  • What’s Next: You’ll leave with a personalized care plan and, if needed, a patient navigator who can connect you to resources like financial assistance, chronic disease management, or specialty care.

Prism Health North Texas never denies care based on a patient’s ability to pay. To view our schedule of charges, please ask any PHNTX clinic or care team member.
