Who is Miss LifeWalk?

Miss LifeWalk 2024’s reign will soon end, just in time for Miss LifeWalk 2025 to pick up the mantel. We thank the fabulous Shantae Morgan for her time as ruler, but we make way for another leader to step forward. Could you be Miss LifeWalk?

After winning her crown, Miss LifeWalk 2025 will be an Ambassador for Prism Health North Texas for the next twelve months. Miss LifeWalk uses her platform to promote community healthcare, safe sex, knowing your status, and being PrEPared! Additionally, she raises funds and advocates for those in North Texas, especially those who are under- or uninsured.

Oh, and the winner of the Miss LifeWalk 2025 competition will receive a $500 cash prize.

The first runner up and Miss Congeniality will earn major bragging rights. All contestants will receive a $200 stipend for competing.

From November 2025 through October 2026, Miss LifeWalk 2025 will:

  • Use her professional and personal social media presence to promote community healthcare and safe sex in North Texas.
  • Attend both June and September Pride events as a PHNTX ambassador.
  • Appear at LifeWalk events, including the Miss LifeWalk 2026 competition.

Note: Contestant spots are limited, and entry to the pageant will be granted by committee vote.

Category Is…

The competition for Miss LifeWalk includes three exciting categories (and an optional bonus category). Here’s what to expect:

Presentation/Contestant Introduction: Strut your stuff as our hosts introduce you to the audience. Own the stage, engage with the crowd, and set the tone for the night! While this category is not scored, it is part of your overall ambiance and will be taken into consideration.

Talent: Go big or go home! Whether it’s juggling, dancing, or a jaw-dropping lip sync performance, this is your moment to shine. Bring the drama, the energy, and your unique flair.

Self-Expression and Q&A: It’s your time to impress with grace, poise, and personality. Wear an outfit that best represents your authentic self and style. During this portion, you’ll also answer a question related to healthcare and the community and share how you would represent the organization as Miss LifeWalk. We want to see the star power you bring to the role.

Fundraising: This crown cannot be bought, but we love to see funds reach the community members who need it. All donations raised through Miss LifeWalk go straight back to our community, so we can ensure that no patient ever gets turned away, regardless of their ability to pay.

The Nitty Gritty

Review the below rules and regulations to ensure you remain eligible to compete in Miss LifeWalk 2025:

  1. Any individual may compete for the title of Miss LifeWalk.
  2. All Miss LifeWalk contestants are expected to attend the VIP Reception in the Rose Room from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. on the date of the pageant, Sunday, November 2, 2025.
  3. Attendance will be taken at approximately 2:30 p.m. in the dressing room on November 2nd. Late arrivals or conflicts must be communicated and approved at least 24 hours in advance. Unapproved late arrivals may result in penalties up to and/or including disqualification.
  4. Contestants are encouraged to collect pledges in advance of the pageant. Checks must be made out to Prism Health North Texas. All pre-collected pledges should be turned in at Attendance/Check-In on November 2nd.
  5. All tips collected by contestants will be donated to Prism Health North Texas.
  6. Contestants will be allowed one assistant in the dressing room. The dressing room area must be kept clean and used only by entertainers and contestants. If contestants have backup dancers for their talent, dancers will be allowed in the dressing room for costume change two numbers before the contestant is called on stage.
  7. Use of fire or flammable or wet products is NOT permitted on stage and is grounds for immediate disqualification.
  8. All entertainers and contestants must be 21 years of age or older and must be prepared to show a valid ID.
  9. All entertainers and contestants must abide by TABC rules and regulations. TABC rules and regulations are  posted online.
