Lunch ‘n’ Learn: Sex Work and Exploitation

Join us for a free Lunch ‘n’ Learn exploring the complexities of sex work and the challenges faced by individuals affected by exploitation. This training will provide essential knowledge and best practices for engaging and supporting those impacted. The presentation will be given by Regina M. Frugé of Community Outreach to Stop Human Trafficking, a subdivision of New Friends, New Life.
Lunch will be provided!
Who should attend: Clinic staff, case managers, and community partners.

Regina M. Frugé, LCSW-S, is a licensed clinical social worker and clinical director with over 20 years of experience in trauma-informed care, refugee services, healthcare, and social work education. She currently serves as Clinical Director at New Friends, New Life in Dallas, leading therapeutic services for youth and women impacted by sex trafficking. Ms. Frugé also teaches at the University of North Texas in the School of Social Work and operates a private practice offering clinical supervision and counseling.
Her work spans pediatric to geriatric care, with specialized expertise supporting refugees, survivors of trauma, and medically complex clients. She has trained and supervised dozens of clinicians, built internship programs, and presented on a variety of subjects such as trauma stewardship and vicarious trauma. Ms. Frugé holds licensure as a Clinical Social Worker in Texas (with Supervisor designation), Iowa, and Kentucky. She earned her MSW from the University of Nebraska Omaha and her BSW from Creighton University. Ms. Frugé is committed to culturally responsive, client-centered care and advancing the social work profession through leadership, mentorship, and education.
