For decades, PHNTX has been uplifting and supporting those affected by HIV and the LGBTQIA+ community with compassionate care and advocacy. Today, we are broadening that commitment to serve our entire community more comprehensively, building equitable healthcare access for all Texans through our new status as a Federally Qualified Health Center Look-Alike (FQHC-LAL).
This new status is a special designation for health organizations like ours that are committed to delivering affordable, comprehensive, and high-quality care to people of all ages. Most importantly, it ensures that we can provide this care to those who need it most—regardless of their ability to pay.
While our dedication to individuals living with HIV remains steadfast, we are now able to offer a broader range of primary and preventative care services to everyone in our community.
New Services Available
In addition to our current services in LGBTQIA+ primary care, HIV/STI prevention and treatment, behavioral health and psychiatry, and dental care, we are expanding to include women’s health, gynecological services, and primary care for adults and families.
