Join us at the Oak Cliff Cultural Center on October 2nd at 6 p.m. for a fun-filled evening cohosted by fabulous drag performers Emeka Bless and Deja Dubois. \nWant to up your chances of winning? Pledge to vote and get an extra playing card! Bring a friend to pledge\, and you’ll both score an extra card. Plus\, send postcards with key voting dates to encourage friends and family to vote in this crucial election. Don’t miss out on this fun chance to make a difference! \nDid you know you might not actually be registered to vote?\nRecently\, over one million Texans were removed from the state’s voter rolls\, with 463\,000 voters placed on the suspense list. Texans with a felony conviction are eligible to vote once their parole is completed. Being on the “suspense” list doesn’t prevent you from voting\, but it may require additional steps. If you’re on the list\, you’ll need to fill out an address confirmation form when you vote. Don’t be discouraged—get out and make your voice heard! \nOctober 7th is the last day to register to vote in the upcoming election! You can register to vote at Voteria!
