SCAETC Webinar – Control Over and Intervention into Childbirth in the US: Historical and Contemporary Issues

In this webinar industry experts will help participants expand their understanding of the multifaceted inequalities that women face when accessing health care and in their daily lives. Participants will be presented with five lenses, building off one another, to better understand the history and the current state of women’s health care.
This includes analyzing the breakdown in women’s healthcare from the historical, legal, developmental, and cultural lenses. Participants will explore generational trauma from birthing to nursing homes and propose best practices to create a framework to address healthcare inequities.
